Punked By A Porcupine

I have to show you this video I made yesterday during our blizzard warning... that porcupine got the drop on me this time. LOL

I can't believe it took so long to sink in that he was there. Sheesh.

By the way, Happy Birthday, Bonnie!

  1. Ah, my friend--adventure finds you! :) I loved this video...though will you PLEASE stop sharing that cold Canadian air with us? Heehee. We had a nice warm spell last week, but that's over for several days. **sigh**

God bless you. Talk soon, okay?

  2. hey there anita
wow... that wind is something. reminds me of my Grandparent's farm in North Dakota during American Thanksgiving.
I wonder where Mr. Porcupine was going? Just out for a stroll? Perhaps looking for something to photograph (like you *heh*).
didn't realize you still have so much snow. it's sunny, but cold here in Virginia.
    thanks for sharing!

  3. Whazza matter, Gwen...you don't like share-zies? LOL

I saw on the news today that Southern Ontario is in the midst of a storm - well, it might look like I sent it, but even wind takes longer than 12 hrs to travel half-way across Canada. But I give you my permission to blame the Canadians north of you. Heh.

Yes, pretty please talk soon with coloured sprinkles on top!

  4. Hey Deb - you know North Dakota is only a couple hours south of me, right? No wonder it sounds familiar to you.

As for my prickly friend, I already have 2 previous posts on him - one short video from 200 ft away, and some photos where he's hiding in that wolf willow thicket at the end of the driveway. So that's where he came from. He's got a hideout somewhere around there. I was tempted to follow him, but like I said on the video, once you pass that windbreak, the wind'll knock you over.

The funny thing is, it's sunny with a slightly diminished wind today and I was out there this morning taking pics of the sunrise. And now I'm actually looking for my little friend, you know? Up until last week, I never realized how fast they moved.

    Keep well, Deb. Happy Spring.

    Anita.
